Remember my poster design the other time?

This poster,

I GOT A BLOODY "E" GRADE FOR IT.

E, NOT FOR EXCELLENT, NOT FOR EXTRAORDINARY,

ITS E FOR EXCRUCIATING.

My lecturer says that its very low resolution and very readability is low, and a whole cb lot of criticism lah okay. And the other lecturer said, this design is more of an art work than a design, as a poster has to send the message across to people within 3 seconds and this, clearly, doesn't.

Okay, nice way to put it, my design was too intricate and requires thinking. Or you wanna be harsh you can just say it doesn't make sense lah okay.

So, my lecturer allowed us to choose if we wanna resubmit another poster, so I of cos want to resubmit lah, E grade leh, wtf, first sem already get E, I also want face okay.

So, this is the new poster I designed and decided to submit.

What do you think?

It sends the message across, readability is excellent (if you cannot read this, you are fucking blind), and there is only one picture, the oreo, so I don't see how resolution will create a problem here.

OMGOMG, I hope I get at least a D or C. E is like, woaaahhhhhh, strikes me in the heart.

I did my second tattoo, like super impromptu?!! Theresa and Deonne were just discussing about getting tattoos and like Theresa was calling up the person (Joe Finch from Ink by Finch by the way) and I was like, "I WANNA GET A TATTOO NOW, LETS GO, NOW, HURRY BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND.", so we took a train down to City hall from Chinatown to do my tattoo, so spontaneous I was without second thoughts.

Went for classical music concert on thursday evening with classmates, other art students and etc so we can do our concert report.

Classical music, sounds damn atas and up in the ass right, you'll immediately imagine a stage and like satin covered seats right, and of cos people dressed in suits and corsage and gowns and moving about in slow-mo elegant, poised and yaya.

BUT no, dream on, at least I had to dream on. It was not all as expected, classical music concert.. what freaking blatant nonsense. The place looks like we are gonna sit around and sing a camp fire song (Its the c-a-m-p-f-i-r-e-s-o-n-g song~). So nonsense, and so boring please.

I EVEN PAID 10 BUX. Like a hello, the crap was like, I think only worthed 5 bux.

For me, I'll live by the new rule of "Love is couture", if it does not fit, its disaster. People who have negative emotions about love, are just people who haven't found the love that fits them.

But sometimes, we pretend we've found our fitting love, because of our mere desperation to satisfy and fill the emptiness in us. We wait and wait and wait, for this "love" to flourish, but in the end its just a cooked seed that will never germinate.

Love takes time, to be tested, to be tried, maybe when we stop being so shallow, it might finally surface.

I am now semi officially a NAFA student, wait till Monday when school starts, I'll be able to count myself as a NAFA year 1 freshman.

I went for orientation today. Boring long briefings and talks, omgee.

PS: Oh, Diploma is like so different from Certs. Seriously, everything is so complicated, you have like tons of modules to complete during the 3 years and like, you have to freaking choose electives over the 3 years.

I know you don't understand what am I saying, I KNOW RIGHT? Because I don't even know what am I saying. Like seriously, certificates were never this confusing!

Certs are like, bunch of modules, you take, all planned out for you. And now dip is like, bunch of modules, you choose electives, and you pretty much guide yourself through all this shit. Like, when to complete your modules, whether you have enough credits, etc.

I went on a date with the 3 flowers, Jaslyn the Rose, Natalie the Sunflower and Cassandra the Forget-me-not yesterday. It was supposed to be a duo flower date, Cas-Sandra and Natalie's but I wanna be a light bulb and so I dragged Jass along. CPJ the Peony was supposed to join us, but she have to go bai bai. So sad lor, that China doll, haven't seen her since.. er, SHEESHA OUTING like months ago?!

Jass and Nat are super dee duper thick skin, they asked me if I feel honored to be going out with 3 pretty girls. Like a hello, I should be asking them if they are honored to be going out with a super handsome guy right, ahem meaning me, of cos.

The day was awesome, I haven't seen Sandra in months! And we haven't had a flowers outing for awhile already, the last time was me, Jass and Nat's kbox outing, a few posts ago.

I went out with 2 flowers yesterday, the Rose and the Sunflower. Its our 3 flowers' first Kbox session together! The day with them was awesome we sing until we were all drunken high please.

At the Suntec office camwhoring while waiting for my employee card's deposit to be refunded to me.

Our room were super hidden inside Kbox. Jass said "我们在玩迷宫".

Our room was mega huge, mega luxurious, I swear, click on the picture to see the full size pic. Its like the largest Kbox room I've ever been in. Its so wide it can like fit maybe 15 pax maybe? And we only paid $8 per person. We felt so 海派 when we were inside. Like as if we are atas mother pee pees.

Hey, missed me? I've been so busy with camps recently, I don't have time to even tweet!

My first camp was with Zheng Hua Primary's P4s @ CSPR. My group is so cute! I missed them already as I am typing now. I didn't get to take any pictures with them. D:

My first group was called Daredevils. They are damn awesome I swear. They came up with their group name and group cheer all by themselves. They were so motivated and well behaved that I didn't even have to scold any of them! Instead of being an inspiration for them, they were an inspiration for me.

My two group leaders, Nizam and Akeel, they are the cutest man, they are always so helpful and cheerful. I remembered the first time when I ask them to do a head count and made sure all 18 heads are here, they came back telling me there are only 16. The silly duo forgot to include themselves.

I miss them to the max man. My first group. And my mischievous kid of the group too, Yiqing. At the start of the camp, he was already spouting vulgarities and pushing his classmates on the floor. But thankfully, after lecturing him a few times, he kinda "stopped".

He said that if there is another camp, he will ask his mum to let him quit. I looked at him and said, "What? You don't like camp is it? You don't like me is it?" He damn cute, "No lah, if you be my trainer, then I come lah."

You tell me, how not to miss them. Really should have taken a picture with them, but my handphone was flat throughout the camp. D:

I really hope they are doing well now, and Yiqing please be behaving himself.

My second camp was with Orchid Park Secondary's Sec 1s. I swear, they are like times more difficult to control than primary school. I had to blow my whistle, shout and yell at them.

They were an uncooperative bunch. They were all over the place. I had to shout at them several times and I had to express how disappointed am I in them. Even though they made me shout and yell so much, at the end of the day, they appreciated my efforts and worked together at least.

Even Deiderie, a girl who irritated me with all her complains, managed to settle down.

When we were having our last sharing moment, I was so touched by what they said and the feedback forms, I took a peek into them too.

They said that I made their camp very memorable and if they were coming back for secondary 3 camp, they want me as their trainer again.

Aww, looks like my shouting and yelling was for the worth.

I can't wait for my next camp next monday man! Siling primary, here I come! :D

1) My phone line is cut, I have no money to pay.
2) My internet has been lagging the shit out of hell recently.
3) My blackberry is doing the fucking shit too. Lagging.
4) I have no money at all.
5) I fucking have to collect my fucking wallet from FUPO and I still don't know how the fuck am I suppose to get to Hemmant rd. Fuck, I actually have no intention of going at all. No one wants to go with me anyway.

See this above, I drew it for my 10 flowers, 10 lovely babes who are my bestest group of friends in ITE. They really really made my whole year in ITE such a joyful experience. You can't imagine how much I love them! Omg.

Those familiar with us, know us as the 10 flowers. We each represent a flower that compliments our personality or characteristics.

Let me introduce you to my lovely 10 babes, with explanation why they represent their flower.

Me! Jovian Josiah Lim, the Morning Glory.

Why:

In Chinese, the Morning Glory is called the La Ba Hua, direct translation to English, it means trumpet flower. Among the group, being the only guy, I'm always rather hyper in the group, I can't stop talking, won't stop talking, and don't wanna stop talking. Get it?

Jaslyn Kimberly Tan, the Rose.

Why:

Roses are elegant, beautiful, magnificent, and so is Jass. Roses comes with thorns, and so does Jass. Jass may look pretty and all, but this Sembawang ah lian packs a punch okay. And she is strong, like literally strong. She can lift me up okay!

Lim Yin En Melody, the Cherry Blossom.

Why:

First glance at Yinen, oh yes, she is your typical girly girl! If she was one of the PowerPuff Girls, you bet she'll be Blossom. Nothing she loves more than being a vain pot. And pink is SO her color.

Emily Tan, the Hibiscus.

Why:

Emily, she is straightforward, daring, loud, like a Hibiscus' wide petals. She is a "I think, I say" person. She'll never cooped herself up with words. Oh, you should see her talk back to teachers. F-I-E-R-C-E. Yes, Emily is fierce.

Gwee Jiamin, the Lily.

Why:

Jiamin is beautiful in ways, graceful, righteous and really charismatic like a Lily. Jiamin loves to talk, she's funny, really funny, she just brings people towards her with her laughter and cheekiness.

Natalie Phoenicia Teong, the Sunflower.

Why:

Cheerful and bubbly and bright all day long, Natalie the Nat Nat Pok is always smiling. She always looks optimistic, she's just lovely. Nat is also really clumsy, she get into all sorts of injury because of her being such a klutz and yes, she does not just look like a bimbo, she IS a bimbo.

Cherie Choong, the Ixora.

Why:

Cherie is the sweeeeetest person I have ever met. Well, Ixora's nectar are sweet. Seriously, she's always there for her friends, she's always so giving, so self sacrificing. She always does her best for her friends even if it disadvantages her. This kind of friend, where to find?! Gotta love her to bits.

Sandra Lam, the Forget-Me-Not.

Why:

Sandra is short, damn short, shortest of the bouquet. Petite, she always insist she is. Like her, the Forget-Me-Not, is a tiny lil blue flower. By myth, it is said that the small little blue flower was almost overlooked by God, therefore, its named Forget-Me-Not. Sandra loves her height, saying it makes her cute.

Cai Peijun Chanelle, the Peony.

Why:

Very obvious, Cpj looks like a China doll! Lil teeny eyes with non existent eye lashes are her trademark. Cpj is like the Peony, a flower often appearing in Chinese paintings.

Christina Sim, the Mimosa.

Why:

I can't find her individual picture, cos she doesn't like her pictures taken, which also explains why is she the Mimosa.. She's REALLY SHY! She's always keeps things to herself. A mysterious creature of the group.

And so with the end of the 10 flowers' introductions.

Sarahh Natasha, the Bougain Villea.

Why:

Bougain Villeas are hardy flowers that grows even in dry soil, proving to be hardy and strong plants. Sarah is just like that, she's really up and going, she packs a punch, she can't be brought down easily, she eats perseverance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like the papery flowers of the Bougain Villea, Sarah is also pretty soft on the inside, and is easily hurt. But of cos, Sarah will always be up and ready to kick some ass!

Yan Scoop, the Vanda Miss Joaquim.

Why:

Yan is not your girly girl. Yan is like the Vanda Miss Joaquim, an orchid, discovered by Agnes Joaquim while she was "loitering alone" in her garden one morning. Like the orchid, Yan, is a gem in a garden just waiting to be discovered and to be proven her worth.

So now, we not only have 10 flowers in our bouquet, we have a whole dozen!!

PS: I was pooping words while doing this post. I was so lost for words, to describe all 12 flowers. Imagine if I asked you to describe 12 of your friends in details, I bet you will crap in your pants. I swear, I really was sweating while typing this post. Okay, my point is, I put a lot of effort in it.
